In 2002 she attended the University of Akron School of Law and graduated in 2005. She was on the Dean’s List at each University she attended.
While she was attending Law School, she went to work for Skidmore and Associates, L.P.A. in Akron. She became the law clerk for six attorneys. During her employment at this firm, she conducted research in residential and commercial real estate, estate planning, family, business and franchise law. She received exposure to court procedures through attendance at pretrials, mediations, trials and oral arguments. She also completed the required class work as recommended by the Supreme Court of Ohio in mediation skills and worked as a mediator for a semester at the Akron Municipal Court which she really enjoyed.
Megan came to Omni in 2005 where she plays a vital role in the day-to-day functions of the company. Her role as General Counsel gives her a wide array of challenges through drafting commercial leases and amendments for Omni’s portfolio of properties to handling all legal aspects of property acquisitions and dispositions and joint venture partnership arrangements.
